Here's something different for this blog! The video embedded below is based on a Power Records Book and Record Set from the 1970s, which itself was based on a classic Hasbro GI Joe accessory set! The author of the video took the record and comic, added some animation, in order to share it with the world... and I'm sharing it here! I think it's pretty cool, even if it doesn't quite fit with the standard mileau of mummy stuff!

Creepy Classics Finger Puppets!

Here's an item that's actually in my own collection! About two or three Halloweens ago, alerted by another blog that was participating in the Halloween Countdown, I learned that these (as well as some other figures of the same monsters) were being offered in the Dollar Stores. Well, you know that the very next day I went out and bought 'em! They're pretty cool, and for a dollar each, how could you go wrong?

These turn up on eBay often, although overpriced for Dollar Store stuff... and they do occasionally pop up in Dollar Stores still!
